Ericson Manufacturing has released its PTU e-Cart™ series of portable power transformation and distribution units. The versatile line of mobile transformer carts are engineered for the pace and demands of today’s most complex construction environments, including AI data centres, hyperscale facilities, and other mission critical builds.
Available in both open frame and enclosed cage frame configurations in aluminum and steel, the PTU e-Cart™ series is designed for contractors who need reliable, mobile high-power distribution without permanent infrastructure. The four-wheel cart design allows units to be repositioned freely across active job sites, keeping power where it is needed as construction phases shift.
The series spans a wide capacity range — from 15-500kVA — in both single and three-phase configurations, operating 480 to 600V primary input. A dual primary option supporting both 480V and 600V is available, giving contractors and project teams the flexibility to deploy a single unit across varying site power conditions without modification.
Select models carry cETLus listing for use in the United States and Canada. All units in the PTU e-Cart™ series are built to meet UL943 5th edition self-testing GFCI requirements and UL1640 design assembly standards. Environmental ratings span NEMA 3R, NEMA 4X, and hazardous location classifications, making the units suitable for indoor and outdoor deployment across a wide range of construction site conditions.
Recognizing that no two job sites are identical, Ericson offers fully customizable design, color, and labeling options across the PTU e-Cart™ line.
