Xylem’s Bell & Gossett unveiled an interactive data center experience, introduced upgrades to foundational product lines.
Xylem Inc. (NYSE: XYL) demonstrated its commitment to shaping the future of high-performing buildings at AHR Expo 2026 through its Bell & Gossett brand, including end-to-end data center solutions and products engineered for reliability, efficiency and resilience.
“As market and customer needs continue to evolve, buildings are operating in a new water economy shaped by growing pressures on today’s resources,” said Kevin Calzada, senior director, product management, Xylem. “In response, tools, technology and equipment that address the building ecosystem holistically are essential to sustain optimal system performance now and into the future.”
Bell & Gossett highlighted modular pumping solutions and new products, many of which represent enhancements or upgrades to foundational product lines, including the e-80SCX Smart Pump, e-90ECM Pump and the BPX™ Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger. Xylem experts will also be available to share application, technology and system expertise on a variety of timely subjects through technical discussions held throughout the show.
Powering reliable data center performance
In-booth discussions addressed how energy-efficient data center system design and responsible water use support operational performance as digital infrastructure continues to expand.
“We are at a critical turning point with data centers, one that will be defined by the systems and applications we put in place today,” said Matt Johnson, business development manager, Xylem.“ Customers need solutions and partners that can scale as demands change, and through Bell & Gossett, Xylem is uniquely equipped to serve in that capacity both through flexible hydronic systems and industry expertise that can address the entire life cycle of data center maintenance and management.”
With data centers operating under sustained, high-density loads, hydronic design plays a direct role in scalability, control and long-term reliability. Design decisions across pumping and system operation determine how cooling systems can perform long-term under continuous demand, an imperative in applications where uptime is non-negotiable and water is mission-critical.
“By focusing on dependable hydronic systems that perform consistently over time, Bell & Gossett helps data center operators balance performance requirements with the needs of the communities they serve,” Johnson said.
Flexible solutions for real-world systems
Building on Xylem’s long-established commercial building portfolio, products on display reflect a focus on flexibility within proven, system-level designs. Existing infrastructure, constrained spaces and limited downtime are common challenges for facilities, requiring solutions that can adapt without extensive modifications.
The e-80SCX Smart Pump and e-90ECM Pump are designed for these conditions, providing greater control while allowing operators to work within systems and equipment they already know and trust. Built for long-term operation, these solutions help extend system life without requiring major changes. Bell & Gossett will also showcase a new BPXTM Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger designed to support efficient heat transfer across a range of applications.
“In many commercial buildings, limitations like outdated infrastructure, space constraints and operating schedules are an ongoing challenge,” said Jacob Lazzarotto, engineering supervisor, Xylem. “That’s why the new e-80SCX Smart Pump and e-90ECM Pump are designed to give operators flexibility while building on familiar platforms they trust, bringing the reliable performance Bell & Gossett is known for. It’s how we continue to evolve proven solutions to meet today’s performance demands.”
